April Wagner & Jason Ruff - epiphany
Exquisite Splash Vessels and Sculptural Bowls
Artists Biography
In 1993 April and Jason began creating work as "epiphany". Their works are created entirely by themselves without the assistance of apprentices. The process used by "epiphany" is traditionally termed "fazzoletto", which means the glass is blown in free form.
An unwavering, belief that glass is an astonishing material of unlimited potential remains at the very center of why April and
Jason choose to create with glass. epiphany is represented in many fine galleries around the nation and can be seen in The White House collection, General Motors and various Private Collections.
All work is created in their "state of the art" studio. Their equipment is based on designs developed for famous glassmasters Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra and the Corning Museum.
