This magnificent seaworld sculpture is over four feet tall and two feet wide, a masterpiece of work, for the discriminating collector who appreciates fine sculptures. This sculpture is meticulously hand finished, using the hot patina technique. SPI artists heat the brass surfaces with blow torches and apply proprietary formulations of chemicals that react to the metal using using various techniques, one layer at a time. After several coats of hand waxing, the result is a vibrant, deep, layered finish with complex subtleties that no other finishing method can achieve. |
