*** Extraordinary Design by Great GlassMaster *** April Wagner and Jason Ruff, epiphany colors available: lime, cobalt, salmon, cranberry, violet, silver, black/white/blue, black/white/red the term "old school" refers to the "old" work april and jason were exploring back in the early 1990`s while they were in "school". this style eventually evolved into the current day "splash free form" series, which is symetrically divided by solid bitwork. the old school pieces have blown-out bitwork, done in a very organic, yet controlled manner and based on a division of three. demand for this asymmetrical form combined with the artist`s desire to delve deeper into the compelling style has precipitated the reintroduction of this vintage style into the present. a classic epiphany form, with an updated understanding of glass. |
