David Leppla was educated at Kent state University where he obtained his Masters Degree in Fine Arts. He did a Fellowship at Konstfackskolan, Stockholm Sweden. He has received awards from The New Jersey
Council for the Arts Grants in 1993, Distinguished Artist, New Jersey
Council for the Arts Grant 1989, Creative Glass Center of America
Fellowship, Millville NJ, 1986, ITT International Fellowship Award,
Stockholm, Sweden 1982. His works can be seen on display at the Museum of Decorative Arts, Lausanne, Switzerland, New Orleans Museum of Art, New Orleans La., Rockford Art Museum, Rockford IL, Rutgers Collection of Art, Rutgers University, Camden NJ., Wheaton Museum of America Glass, Millville, NJ. The art glass of David Leppla can be found in many private and public collections throughout the United States.
