Dennis's career in glass
began in Vermont in 1979 when he worked with Robin Mix at TunBridge
Glassworks. He acquired skills while creating production
pieces such as small vases, bowls, and plates. "I became enamored
with the craft and acquired my lifelong passion for the art of glassmaking."
In 1984 he traveled to Denmark where he worked with premier designers,
Darryl Heinz and Anjar Kjaer. He later traveled to Sweden where he
worked with former Kosta Boda GlassMasters and Designers, Arthur Zirnsack
and Hanna Dreutler. In 1994 he co-founded Uptown Glassworks in Renton
Washington. In 1997 he was honored to be chosen as
one of the few glass artists to design and create special ornaments
that hung on the Blue Room Christmas Tree in the White House.

Available are 11 different color combinations and platters that range in size from 12" diameter to 32" diameter. Several wall hangers and freestanding stands are available that fit most platters.
